Map Shock. When infographics attack! Not really...but you know. (Via Communication Nation.)
Hi. I'm Paul Nixon, a designer living in Mountain View California. My days (and some nights) are spent designing websites for a little company in Cupertino. The rest of my time is spent with my beautiful wife and friends, road cycing and reading your blogs.

This Spartan Life. Check out the episodes. Using the Halo 2 Xbox Live environment for a talk/variety show. How great is that? Love it! (Via boing boing)

Jeff Werner and Shawn Litster are making an epic cycling trip from Vancouver, Canada to Mexico via the beautiful west coast. The total mileage and timeframe is about the same as the Tour de France -- approx 3000 kilometers over a few weeks.
I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to meet these guys as they made their way through Santa Cruz -- which is just a 35 minute jump from Cupertino. Jeff and I know each other from the blog world. One of those classic examples of an email here and a link there leads to meeting up at an opportune time. We had a great lunch and I put in a few miles with them to the campground. Even with an extra 30 lbs. on their bikes they were still up for a few sprints!
Great guys, great trip and a great sense of adventure. They are heading your way Greg! See a few shots at Flickr.
